…another in a long series, it seems!
We went this afternoon to the Espace d’Information for the ‘fouilles’, the door of which has a large sign saying it is open every weekday afternoon, but it was firmly closed and people coming out didn’t have any information, at all.
Still the dig itself is fascinating. I’ll leave you with this photo of the work ongoing, around the incredibly long roots of the plane tree, each of which has been carefully wrapped in brown fabric.
