Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the Musée Granet will close its doors from Monday 16th March for an indefinite period. At the Hotel Caumont Centre d’Art, where the lovely Japanese art exhibition ‘Les Grands Maitres du Japon’ is due to end on 22nd March, they have posted this notice:
COVID-19 INFORMATION • the number of visitors to the Hôtel de Caumont is strictly limited and requires exceptional regulation of attendance. Only a ticket book online guarantees entry to the “The Great Masters of Japan” exhibition. The visit schedule can’t be guaranteed.
In Nice, the Musée Matisse that I wrote a post about very recently closed indefinitely last night (Friday 13th), and I received an email today warning of the closure from tonight of:
le musée national Marc Chagall in Nice,
le musée national Fernand Léger in Biot,
le musée national Pablo Picasso/La Guerre et la Paix in Vallauris.
