Now it’s getting colder perhaps it’s time to seek the warmth of the cinema. And there are some interesting pickings.
‘Captain Phillips’, produced by and starring Tom Hanks, has its release in Aix on the 20th November. 
It’s the story of how a band of Somalis in a ramshackle boat managed to hijack a massive container ship, the Maersk Alabama, the first time a US ship had been taken by pirates since the 19th century. The first half is exciting stuff but (more…)
