It is usually difficult for people in villages to have access to swimming lessons which are so important for children. Now the département of Bouches-du-Rhone are taking the pool to the people.
Here it is:
Feedback from Auriol in spring last year showed that 217 people had swimming lessons, water-confidence sessions or aqua-santé.
This includes 38 elderly people following special health-based courses, 28 babies doing Saturday morning ‘séances bébés-nageurs’ with their parents, and 48 maternelle children having 6 learn-to-swim classes. Next stops, Orgon then Graveson during the spring.
