A lady contacted me recently for dates for the 2020 Sunday Antiques Market in the Cours Mirabeau. I couldn’t find anything online so dropped into the tourist office for details. Unfortunately they didn’t have any. I would have thought it a good event to promote for visitors to the town: Provencal brocante markets usually feature in atmospheric travel write-ups, and our monthly market has stalls crammed with paintings, linens, tableware, Provencal furniture, glass, kitchen implements, Ricard jugs and ash-trays, old post-cards – a treasure trove. The market restarted today and I found a flyer with a list – result.
So, here are the dates for the coming year:
8 March, 19 April, 10 May, 7/8 June, 12 July, 9 August, 27 September, 11 October, 8 November.

It was opening at 9:30 this morning and I believe it carries on for most of the day. The flyer I found doesn’t include times…
