This year sees the annual influx of artisans from Portofino who set up stall with their wares in the Place Baragon in Cassis which is their twin town.
It’s not an extensive market but there are interesting stalls with good quality foodstuffs, wine and leather goods, alongside a full programme of Italian-themed activities. There will be culinary demonstrations, wine-tasting, a parade of historical vehicles (Sat 11:00), and local restaurants usually have Italian-inspired menus.
When: 30 October – 3 November, 9-20hrs; official inauguration 30th at 18:30.

This celebration is in its 11th year and each year they have yet another fun poster which are supposed to be for sale at the tourist office. It’s worth a try…
Cassis is always a pleasure to visit and will be especially so for its Italian weekend.
