Following my post on the water taxi service from Marseille’s Vieux Port to Pointe Rouge and L’Estaque closing for winter this weekend, there has been a development.
The boats to L’Estaque will be running throughout the winter months until the usual service restart date in April.
Metropole president Martine Vassall has made the announcement that this particular service will keep running as an experiment; they want to see how many passengers will continue to use it and how economically viable it is. Departures hourly, on the half-hour.
