A Bus tour south of the city
and
Sunset apéros on board ‘un bar sur le mer’.
‘Colorbus’ is a new hop-on hop-off service which takes visitors south to see places that aren’t so easy to get to: the Vallon des Auffres, the Corniche, the Prado beaches, MAC (fun modern art gallery), the stade Velodrome, the Corbusier building and cours Julien. It leaves from the Vieux Port, near the Mairie, and takes in 14 stops. Colorbus operates daily, 9:30-18:00, and your ticket is valid for the day. Here is the website, which isn’t fully launched yet, but they have got the ticket-ordering service up: https://www.colorbus.fr/
And here is the map. I can’t wait to try it out. Map_2Routes_Colorbus
Having had a tour of some of Marseille’s greatest hits, what nicer than to round the day off with an apero at sunset? ‘Erre 1930’ is a vintage wooden sailing boat moored at the foot of Fort Saint-Jean at the mouth of the Vieux Port.
I am coming to spend 4 weeks in Aix in July. I have been before but welcome your up to the minute blog. I would like to play bridge whilst I am there if possible
The only one I am aware of doesn’t run July-August as people are on hols. Sorry.
