Weekend 13-14 April – Carry-le-Rouet
‘Made in Marseille’ is the theme for a port-side food festival featuring panisses, chichis, bouillabaisse, sardines (not blocking the port! ). Tastings, cookery demos.

Weekend 24-26 May – Cassis
‘Mapping’ of gastro-images on the cliffs, evenings of 24 and 25th. Wine fair of Cassis vin blanc 26th.
Friday 28 June – Vieux Port, Marseille
Lionel Levy, chef at the Intercontinental, will direct 1000 participants during a ‘cours de cuisine géant’, on those big steps down from the hotel. Something he’s always wanted to do, apparently and with MPG2019, he said, ‘OK on fonce’. Recipe to include sardines…18:00hrs. Registration on http://www.mpg2019.com.
Sunday 20 June – Cours Mirabeau, Aix
Picnic with Music by Puccini. In conjunction with annual Parade(s) concert. 21:45.
1-13th July – Various ‘Diners Insolite’
Dine in unusual locations – a lavender field, an abbey near Arles, shipyard at La Ciotat. https://www.mpg2019.com/
Sunday 7 July – Chateauneuf-le-Rouge
27th Festival de la gastronomie: buy a carnet of tickets to ‘spend’ at different chefs’ stalls. Tables under the trees and dancing in the evening – pure Provence.
