The excellent ‘Network Provence’ group for women is meeting in Aix this month and the programme includes Gaelle Baptist an English-speaking French lawyer who will be doing a mini presentation. Her expertise is as follows civil and commercial contracts, consumer law (problems linked to purchases of goods and services). Topics will include…

o Issues involving defective goods (car for example),
o Or non-delivery of goods,
o Poor workmanship, for example builders, plumbers, electricians, garage
o Loan agreements issues
– Property disputes
o Landlord and Tenant disputes, like eviction, property maintenance matters,
o Neighbourhood problems such as rights of way or boundary disputes,
– Family Law, like divorces and Arrangements for Children
– Criminal Law, such as road traffic offences or helping victims of crimes.
