Such a shame to report on closures.
Firstly, ‘Mana a la Maison du Collectionneur’ which opened in the spring has now closed. But the two young British restaurateurs are still serving their fresh vegetarian food from their original café, Mana Espresso, at 12 rue des Bernadines, Aix. Do visit – they have the best avocado toast in town!
And I noticed today that Le Passage is no more. It is a very large space to fill, but in a good spot (opposite Cinema Cézanne) so hopefully it will attract new owners. The building used to be a calisson factory and has a great industrial interior.
We await news of both venues.

Hi, I thought that Mana in the Mazarin was only temporarily closed for painting and refurbishment. I hope they’ll open again!

Le Passage was a total shock, as the closing was discovered when I met a friend there for lunch. There was no sign up, the phone message still unchanged . That was several months ago & still no sign of life.
Looks like people who ran off in the night! Bizare…
It’s now showing as CLOSED on Tripadvisor…but no explanation. I do hope there will be a new life for this interesting building!
