Here’s a good deal for theatre-lovers.
Aix local Karen Wildau who has done so much to organise cinematic showings of London theatre in the town has a widely-acclaimed National Theatre production of ‘King Lear’ starring Ian McKellen on her programme for Sunday October 28th. She tells me that seats in London were £175……..while we can enjoy the show for just £15.
And it’s preceded by short talk from a local Shakespeare enthusiast who will set the scene.
And it’s an opportunity to visit the venue, the Hotel Renaissance, Aix’s five-star hotel.
