A little more on the swimming situation.
- The pool in Les Milles is also closed until Monday 17th Sept. Thanks to Michelle for this update.
- There is a dedicated app, Piscines Pays d’Aix (mamp) which is kept updated with closures and maintenance news. Just downloaded that and hopefully that will help in future! Thanks Marianna.
- From the app I have learned more on why there has been an unexpected six-month delay in opening for the
Piscine Yves Blanc. Firstly they say they have had weather-related problems; and secondly they are looking for a new solution for a moveable dividing wall that will allow the 50m Olympic-sized pool to be morphed into two 25m pools, and back.
