On Saturday, as in many towns locally, the Fete de Saint-Jean will be celebrated in Aix. Very much a Provencal custom, it will culminate in a bonfire into which participants can place little pieces of wood containing a wish.

20h35 : Procession leaves in the direction of place François Villon
21h00 : Flame arrives and is received by the authorities of Aix-en-Provence, place François Villon
21h15 : Spectacle by Lei Farandoulaire Sestian
22h00 : Official speeches, blessing and lighting of fire
22h30 à 1h : ‘Bal Populaire’ dancing to the groupe Oc’Stanza.
