These are a real life-saver when you are stuck for inspiration. There’s a newish shop at the top of rue Bedarrides in Aix where a lady with a sewing machine will personalise aprons, towels, aprons and cute little bibs for a new baby.
Other personalised gifts are available from a ‘Fablab’ kiosk at Carrefour where they can take a digital image or photo and put it on a mug or tee-shirt or cushion – lots of different ideas for presents. This is in the central aisle of the supermarket – not the shops outside.
I know you can send off for this sort of thing by internet but these do offer an instant service and you can get involved with the design.
