Have you visited Ansouis? It’s a lovely Luberon village with an 11th century chateau and Romanesque chapel.
And on Sunday, one of its vineyards, Chateau Saint-Esteve-de-Néri, owned by the Wilson family is opening its doors for a special event. Your invitation is here: Saint Esteve !
There will be a tasting of their wines – there’s the Chateau range of hand-picked grapes, or the Neri wines which are simpler and produced to be drunk young. Special offers are promised on the day!
Plus there is a vernissage of the paintings of Barbara Pitcher, a Canadian/Italian artist who lives between Toronto and Provence. I love her colourful canvases!

The event is on Sunday 7th May, 10:30 onwards. Barbara’s work will be exhibited at the vineyard until 30th June.
And to round off your visit to Ansouis, there’s a guided visit to the ancient chateau in the village at 15:00. Details http://www.chateauansouis.fr/
