Here is a great opportunity if you are a rat de bibliotheque as the French call book-worms (I love that one!).
There’s to be a book sale next Sunday 19th March organised by the Anglo American Group of Provence. Departing expats often give their collections to the group and so their library shelves would be overflowing if it weren’t for their sale. One of the librarians tells me that they will have hundreds if not thousands of books for sale.
They will have fiction, cookery, gardening and travel books – also children’s books. DVDs too will be on sale – and tea and coffee will refresh you while you pile up your bargains.
