…a new hotel and restaurant is to open, Villa La Coste, and the chef will be Gérard Passédat of Le Petit Nice (three Michelin stars) and MuCEM.
The new restaurant will be called Pavillon Louise in honour of Louise Bourgeois whose sculptured spider sits in the middle of the lake.
This will be alongside the existing La Terrasse café for informal dining. Chateau La Coste is also popular for art lovers with its 1-2 hour walk around installations by world-famous artists. The indoor arts centre opens on March 1st. There is also a very tempting shop….and of course, let’s not forget the original vineyard… wine tasting!
No dates yet – here’s their website: http://chateau-la-coste.com/en/
It’s wonderful there..it’ll be fantastic ie the menu will be fantastic, but very expensive, however, to eat in this new restaurant you sadly need to re-mortgage your house…unless you have very deep pockets! 😉
I’m sure you are right Lis and being vegetarian I rarely find anything on menus round here. Never mind…. It’s a great place for a walk round the domain and fascinating development of what was a traditional vineyard!
Interesting, Lynne. Thanks for sharing with we foodies!
An incredible development for a vineyard isn’t it?
