I wonder if you have heard of Galerie Pentcheff? I just stumbled across it on the internet and was amazed to read about the scale of their enterprise.
It’s a commercial gallery and bookstore which mounts exhibitions. The current one is ‘Seyssaud, Verdilhan, Chabaud’, focusing on three very colourful painters who worked in Provence over 60 years ago.

Les ramasseuses, 1897, by René Seyssaud
The gallery was created by Alexis et Giulia Pentcheff in 2009 and can be found at 131 rue Paradis.
The exhibition is on until Saturday 29th October. If you can’t make it, they have very sportingly put the whole thing online: http://www.galeriepentcheff.fr/galerie-art-marseille/
