The referendum to decide whether or not the UK remains in the EU is being held on 23rd June.
British citizens may be entitled to vote subject to being registered and their eligibility. The deadline for registration is 7th June.
To register to vote, go to https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

This link also gives information on how to vote by proxy. You can ask anyone to act as your proxy – as long as they’re registered to vote and they’re allowed to vote in the same type of election. The form is downloadable. Usually, you need to apply for a proxy vote at least 6 working days before election day.
However, if you have been living abroad for more than 15 years, you currently can’t vote. This situation is being challenged, though, by two people living in Italy and Belgium, and the High Court is about to make a ruling.
