This year, Marseille is having a Latino Parade in place of the traditional Carnaval for reasons of economy – but lots of colour, dance and music are promised.
The event will take place in the Parc Borély on Saturday 23rd April. The procession of 1000 participants will be happening 14:30 – 15:30 and is followed by two areas dedicated to dance – instructors will be on hand to teach zumba and world dance.

Children hospitalised at La Timone will get a sneak preview on Tuesday morning when some of the performers visit them.
