If you like photographing Provence, here are details of a major competition being run at the airport – and, who knows, you could be one of those chosen to have their work displayed in grand format to greet visitors this summer.
The theme is Provence from an economic, cultural or touristic view and its aim is to promote the changing and improving image of the region. The deadline is 11th May.
The first prize is a trip for 2 on a CMA CGM container ship from Marseille to Barcelona to let you discover the world of merchant shipping and the ‘marins’ who work in it. Different!
The public can vote on the entries 18th May-8th June, then the winning photos will be exhibited at the airport 24th June – 24th October.
