You might like to mark your diaries with two amazing experiences in early June: Paul Mc Cartney playing Marseille and the flamboyant Groupe F illuminating the ancient Pont du Gard to celebrate its 30 years as a World Heritage site.

Paul McCartney will be doing one concert at the Velodrome on June 5th and that has to be worth seeing.  He’s amazing live, still rocking at 72, and always surrounded by the best musicians.  Tickets are ‘from 243.23 euros plus delivery ‘…..a bit more than the 7/6 d charged when I first saw him with The Beatles back in the day!

It’s taking place on 5, 6,12 and 13 June.   Opens at 19:00 for picnickers but show doesn’t begin until 22:30.  Haven’t got details of cost but am sure it’s not ‘from 243.23 euros’!
