Istanbul will be one of the destinations to have increased services in the new winter schedule just announced by
Istanbul – more flights from Marseille this winter
Marseille-Provence Airport.
There will be a daily flight to Geneva and new destinations include Lisbon, Strasbourg, Jijel (Algeria) and Lanzarote.
They have also inaugurated a new Parking XXL for travellers who wish to leave cars for more than 25 days – at 3.50€ a day; and there’s to be a train service to the Vitrolles station which serves the airport, from Toulon via La Ciotat and Aubagne.
Incidentally, Ryanair are advertising ‘Thank You Tuesday’ in the UK press today, offering 25% of all flights in January. Book by midnight 4th November. Not sure if you have to be in UK to take advantage of this? www.ryanair.com.
