English-speakers in Aix will have a tough decision to make on Sunday 7th December – go along to see two one-act plays by J.M. Barrie chosen to commemorate the centenary of the 1st World War, or hurry along to the great Cathedral in Aix to join in the annual Carol Service.
The carol service is a firm favourite for families in the town. It (like the plays) starts at 16:00 but old hands get there much earlier in order to bag a seat.
What a shame there’s a clash!
But there is a way round it. The What Larks theatre company are also performing their plays at Bonnieux and Bedouin, so if you don’t mind a drive, you can do both. Info on http://www.whatlarks.org.
