I have just visited the fun fair (foire aux manèges) which is on until 11th March at the Stade de Carcassonne car-park. As usual it’s a big fair and was very busy today. But as usual, there was this:
It is there every year and every year I walk past and wonder why a fair-ground ride is dedicated to this very dubious British comic? He must have been a favourite on French TV at some time – oh dear! Does anyone know?
I’m sure the fair was fun – but relaxing in the Torse would get my vote. This was the scene this afternoon – unbelievable that we were taking snow-photos so recently!
