Lunch at La Table des Saisons

Having just recommended a restaurant in rue Lieutaud, it seemed a good time to post an update on one right next door: La Table des Saisons http://latabledessaisons.com.
I reviewed it just as it opened, so not everything on the menu was available; so I was pleased to get an update from Erin who has just enjoyed a lunch there.
She writes, ‘It is a small restaurant and salon du thé run by a young couple open just for lunch and afternoon tea/dessert. It is tucked away near Zinc d’Hugo and was so fresh, creative and delicious. The husband is a pastry chef so of course, the desserts are amazing as well. They also had plenty vegetarian options.
‘I had the tarte fine aux échalotes, the shallots were caramelized and so flavorful. It came with either warm vegetables or salad. I had the veggies which I would highly recommend, a stuffed mushroom; purée of parsnips with something else that was so good I could have eaten an entire bowl full. Anyway the presentation was beautiful with great attention to detail and the price was très correct. 10 euros for the tart and accompaniment or 15 euros for a plat + dessert + coffee. Even the coffee was wonderful as you could choose the blend you wanted.’
